OCP produces four full shows per season in March, May, Sept. and November, plus one staged reading in June. 
 

UPCOMING AUDITION

Casting May 18 for "Agnes of God" directed by Christopher Jewell for a Sept. production. Parts include: 

• Dr. Martha Livingstone (a psychiatrist): 30s, 40s or 50s

• Mother Miriam Ruth (a Mother Superior): 40s, 50s or 60s

• Sister Agnes (an innocent, sheltered nun): 20s

Auditions will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 18 at the Black Box Theater in Langley. Just show up when you can within that time period. Please prepare:

• A one to two-minute monologue (cold reading from sides will be available if preferred)

• For Agnes - prepare to sing 8-16 bars acapella of any hymn, choral, gospel or even traditional Christmas song 

Callbacks will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wed., May 20 if needed with readings from the script. Sides will be provided.

Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice nun accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, further arousing Livingstone’s suspicions. Who killed the infant, and who fathered the tiny victim? Livingstone’s questions force all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and the power of love, leading to a dramatic, compelling climax.​
