Dear OutCast Patrons:

With the current coronavirus health crisis and the need for all of us to take care of ourselves, we are having to make decisions about our season on a week to week basis. None of us are quite sure when we will hit the peak of this event and when life will be allowed to return to a more normal state. OutCast certainly wants all of our patrons to stay safe and follow the directives from our state and county health departments so that when things resume, we can feel safe and comfortable congregating in spaces like the Black Box Theater.

As you know, we have already had to cancel our run of Snow White and the Magnificent Seven, and now our second show of the season, Small Mouth Sounds, will also be cancelled. The Port of South Whidbey (our landlord) has decided to ban any events on the fairgrounds for the month of April, so we have cancelled planned music performances as well as rehearsals. We will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions about the rest of our season productions and other events as we go. We do hope, if possible, to reschedule all of these events further down the line, even if with less performances.

We so appreciate you, our loyal patrons, and your compassionate responses to this predicament. Believe us when we say it is not how we had hoped to celebrate our 10th Season Anniversary year.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact us at with any questions. Season Ticket holders, hang in there if you can to use your tickets at a later date - or feel free to contact us for a refund if that is better for you.

Stay safe and healthy - enjoy the sun when you can and know that OutCast and the rest of the arts community will return!!

OutCast Productions Welcomes You to
Our 10th Season!

Snow White and the Magnificent Seven

by Damien Trasler, David Lovesy & Steve Clarke, directed by Melinda Mack

This ain’t yer grandpappy’s Snow White! Journey back to the Old West (well, Western Langley anyway) for this hilarious, localized version of the classic story. When evil Drusilla Blackheart and One-Eyed Slim conspire to do away with Snow White, it’s up to Sheriff Vince Charming, Nanny Oakley and Silly Billy the Kid to come to the rescue. But they’re not alone. Aided by seven former gunslingers and a flatulent horse, our heroes must overcome treachery, a free-range chicken, and cows on the run to save the day. This British comedy is presented by Outcast in conjunction with Never Too Late Productions, a group in which everyone is at least 50 years old (with the odd exception). Adult humor, but also fun for kids and anyone who enjoys silliness. Come prepared to boo the villains, cheer the heroes and avoid the horse!
